THE Fenwick Hotel has announced the appointment of its new head chef.

Darren Brown has taken the position at the local venue following a year under new management.

He brings years of experience from senior roles in award-winning kitchens across Ayrshire, including luxury boutique hotels, and has been praised for his work developing modern, seasonal menus and building strong kitchen teams.

Darren said: “I’m proud to join The Fenwick Hotel at such an exciting time.

"There is a real passion and ambition throughout the team, and I’m looking forward to building a kitchen focused on quality food, consistency, and great guest experiences.”

The hotel has spent the last year under the guidance of Robin and Jaspreet, who have focused on reinvestment and refining standards across the business.

Robin Bawa, part of the management team at The Fenwick Hotel, said: "The past year has been a very important one for us at The Fenwick Hotel.

"We are incredibly proud of the progress made so far and excited about the future ahead.

"Darren’s appointment reflects our commitment to quality, service, and delivering the best possible experience for our guests."

Darren’s approach to cooking blends classical foundations with contemporary influences, and he places a strong emphasis on using quality ingredients and delivering balanced flavours.

Jaspreet said: "From the very beginning, our goal has been to invest in quality and create something guests genuinely enjoy and remember.

"Welcoming a chef of Darren’s calibre is another positive step forward for the hotel, and we are excited for what lies ahead."
