A SCOTTISH comedy favourite is set to take to the stage in Kilmarnock for a special charity fundraising event.
Tam Cowan will perform at Rugby Park in aid of Reverse Rett, a charity dedicated to accelerating treatments for Rett syndrome.
The event, titled A Night with Tam Cowan, will take place on Thursday, March 4, in the Park Suite at Kilmarnock FC.
The evening is being organised in honour of Dionne, daughter of Killie legend Mavis Reilly, whose family has a personal connection to the condition.
Guests will enjoy 90 minutes of stand-up comedy from Tam, alongside an auction and raffle offering a selection of prizes.
Tickets cost £25 online here, and include a pie and a pint, with the pies generously donated by Brownings the Bakers.
Only 120 tickets are available for the event, which will begin at 7.30pm.
Announcing the fundraiser, Reverse Rett said: "There's nothing quite like the power of friendship, football and a good laugh to bring people together for a great cause.
"For the Reilly family, the fight against Rett syndrome is personal.
"And thanks to friends like Tam, that fight continues to bring people together, raise awareness and help fund the research that could change lives."
